When I’m Gone…
When I leave this body,
don’t give it to these monsters.
Just clean me up,
put two gold coins on my eyelids and one in my mouth for the Boat Man,
put me on a raft made of the wood of an old dead tree
and set me on fire at sunset on lake Michigan or lake Erie or any other lake or ocean u see fit.
Do not have some memorial service in a church built to honor the gods those that murdered millions of my kin.
Do not pay any cotton money or allow the hands or eyes of evil men upon my visage.
As my vessel burns under the moon,
shed your last tears of me and rejoice,
sing,
dance,
Play musical instruments af any kind… lots of drums,
the last drum circle my mortal ears will hear
heal.
no djs.
celebrate my love for u and let the ancestors know I’m coming and I might need their help finding my way.
Do this for me when I’m gone.
