Phantom Phunk Collective is taking the stage at Simple Underground on Thursday, September 10, 2026, for an evening of funk, hip-hop, live musicianship, and grown-folks energy.

This is not your common funk band.

Phantom Phunk Collective — PPC — brings together musicians with deep roots in rhythm, groove, soul, hip-hop, and live performance. The result is a sound built to breathe in the room: drums pushing the pocket, bass holding down the foundation, guitar cutting through the mix, and vocals bringing personality and connection directly to the audience.

For this September performance, Matt holds down the drums, Omar commands the bass, Alan brings the guitar, and Waleed leads the front line with rap and vocals.
