The Graingers
Great Rising Your Highnesses, I hope you are exceedingly well. Yesterday My new Bass Player, Black (yes his name is Black) hit me up about going up to music land to check on a bass clinic and catch a live show. Of course I’m in. When we arrivei lose it to discover Gary and Gary Grainger of the legendary music crew, Pockets, is backing the band. Eff me on the epicness of it all! It was amazing! My Uncle Mark Lewis put me on to Earth Wind and Fire and let me watch a vhs tape in 1986 of the Graingers opening for them .. it was incredible! I was totally captivated by their groove. Gary has and ever will be in my top 10 bassists of all time and I got to meet him! Greg was busy so I only got to shake his hand but Gary gave me wisdom and put me o. To some dope knowledge in Just 5 minutes… He’s exactly the Legendary guy every says he is! Gratitude! S/o to the legendary Grainger Brothers and all they’ve given us … Salute!
