Mike Walker, the legendary proprietor of the place, prides himself on his eye for talent and ear for music. Pure Lounge features DJs, musicians, poetry nights, drink specials, hookah specials, and all kinds of special events for Purists. Great Rising Your Highnesses, I hope you are exceedingly well. Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of playing a lot of great music with a lot of dope musicians. Biscuit Bynum, percussionist, producer, and music director, is one of those musicians. We met years ago at the legendary Bohemian Caverns, in D.C. and recently he was the music director for one of my live shows. He’s a beast for sure.
